NARROWS

Forty‑plus acres. One river.

A hospitality concept perched above the Big Eddy

by Devin Corrigan

The opportunity

A rare stretch of the Delaware, kept wild.

Perched above the Delaware River in Narrowsburg, this is a rare opportunity to create a hospitality experience that feels both secluded and alive. Guests are immersed in the raw beauty of the Big Eddy, with the iconic Narrowsburg bridge as a backdrop and kayaking, canoeing, rafting, fishing, and swimming just steps away.

The concept blends privacy, nature, and elevated design with the energy of a true summer destination. It is peaceful when guests want to disconnect, yet adventurous when they want to get on the river and experience everything the region has to offer.

The river

Peaceful when you want to disconnect. Adventurous when you don’t.

The Big Eddy widens and stills below the property, a broad, calm reach framed by boulders and unbroken tree lines. Put a boat in at sunrise. Cast for trout and bass. Swim off the rocks in July. Or do none of it, and just listen.

Health & wellness

The river is the spa.

No pool deck. No spectacle. The wellness program is drawn directly from the landscape: wood‑fired heat, cold water, river air, and deep quiet, practiced on the bank of the Delaware in every season.

Warm, plunge, rest, repeat, while the current does the work a treatment list never could.

The seasons

A spring awakening. A summer destination. A fall pilgrimage. A winter secret.

The land does not have an off‑season, only a change of light. The concept, rendered through the year on the bank of the Delaware.

Spring at NARROWS. High water on the Delaware, the valley turning green around the cabins.
01 · Spring

High water, first green.

The river runs high and cold, the valley greens from the banks up, and trout season opens while the crowds are still weeks away. Blossom, birdsong, and the first warm mornings on the deck.

02 · Summer

Golden hours on the Eddy.

Kayaks at sunset, swimmers off the rocks, dinner on the deck while the current slides past. In July the river is the whole resort.

Fall at NARROWS. Black cabins and the lit sauna deck under peak Catskills foliage above the river.
03 · Fall

Peak foliage, peak season.

The corridor turns amber and the weekends sell first. Fires on the terrace, fog on the water at dawn, the Catskills at full volume.

Winter at NARROWS. Lantern-lit cabins and the steaming sauna deck in deep snow beside the river at dusk.
04 · Winter

The season it was built for.

Wood‑fired heat, cold water, snow on the cabin roofs, eagles over the river. Lanterns down the bank and steam rising off the deck.

The town

Narrowsburg, 12764.

A hamlet on a bend in the river, with a main street of galleries, boutiques, and farm‑to‑table dining that draws the design‑conscious weekender all season long. The Upper Delaware Scenic & Recreational River corridor keeps the water clean, the banks green, and the night sky dark.

Close enough for a Friday escape from the city. Far enough that the phone stops mattering.

This is not simply a place to stay. It is a front‑row seat to the Delaware River and a chance to build one of the most memorable hospitality experiences in the Catskills.
